Arriving in INDIA

NC-NY: We had to wake up at 2:45 Sunday morning. At 3:30 we got to the airport. The bad thing was that when we arrived the lady said everything on the paper was wrong. The lady had to make our new flight which was pretty bad and we didn't like it very much.

NY-London: The flight ride wasn't that bad but we had to rush a bit. I was really tired and it was a pretty long walk from the gate.

At London: It was awful. We had to stay a night at a cousin's house, wake up in the morning, and then go. We had missed the flight from London to Mumbai. While we were at the airport, the alarm went off. The only thing we heard on the P.A. was "Evacuate the airport immediately." We didn't know what it was, although we thought it was a terrorist attack. Finally, the P.A. stopped and they announced that it was a fire alarm for a small fire. We were all ok now. We lost our seats and had to find new ones. That was a scary time and my heart was beating.

London to Mumbai: My mom, my sister, and my sisters friend had to fight with the Virgin Atlantic and American Airlines. The fact was that my sister's bag was missing. We had to fight with them about that and it was awful. After a while, luckily my sister found her bag. On the plane you could have almost anything you wanted.

Mumbai to Vadodara: Wow, it was only 45 minutes on the plane. On the plane there was a tv but not much we could do. There were India movies because we were on a domestic plane. They did not have good snacks so I barely ate anything. I hope they will have better things to eat next time. When we got there, my cousins were there and they came to pick us up and took us to my grandma's house (my mom's brother lives there with his family). We had a lot of fun!

My first day in Vadodara: The first day in Vadodara, I got kicked by a cow. We went to go try to pet a cow on the streets. When we tried to pet the cow, it kicked us. I didn't like it but it was funny.

Wow Nisha, what an adventurous trip it has been so far. That sounded like a very scary time at the London Airport. It is great to hear from you and I am sure that you will hear from some of your classmates soon.

Hi, Nisha today(Wednesday) is show off day in band, sorry you can't come. Is your clairenet there with you? Are you homesick yet? We miss you. Did the cow hurt? Good-bye until after Winter break, or until I blog to you again. My jelly head typed this all.

Dear Nisha,

I know how bad it is in London. I went there in April and it was horrible! We hed to stay there for about 7 hours! Okay, about the cow... this year, a cow ALMOST pooped on my grandfather's car! And, I know how bad it is to get kicked by a cow. So I have a question, have you drank any coconut water?
